Force Controlled Assembly

In the robot-based automatic assembly system, the robot completes the assembly operation by sensor information and various auxiliary automatic devices. Although the adaptability and reliability of industrial robots are increasing, their low positioning accuracy is often a major obstacle in their application, as most assembly processes require relatively high pose accuracy. Assembly accuracy generally includes: distance accuracy between components, mutual positional accuracy and relative motion accuracy, and contact accuracy.


The accuracy of the 6D force sensor independently developed by Hypersen can reach 0.05N (Fxyz) 0.001Nm (Mxyz), which ensures the precision of the workpiece.
